Auntie Phiengsay deep-fried vegetable tempura and cheese wrapped in rice pancake while Ay Joua flipped the beef on the sticks.

 

 

 Viengsavinh tasted some buns and vegetable tempura.

"This wine is good," said Laddavanh, "let's take two bottle for our picnic."

 

 Okay, we sticked to the original agenda of the picnic before going to see the friendly soccer match.

 

 

 The rest of our former students and families were having lunch at the Buffet City in Clive, Iowa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

'Dara, it is now 1:00 PM.  Are we going to have soccer match,' asked Phianedonh.  Dara replied that he called to Khamsone to go ahead and start the match without him and some of the lycéens. Phianedonh said: "We need to go assist the local band set up the musical instruments and the sound systems before going to the soccer match.  Air Bountham and John will be at the Polk County Convention Complex also.

 

 

 

 

 

 

" We are now ready for the main event this evening," said Dara, "Anybody wanted to go with me to the soccer match at the Youth Sports Complex in Altoona, Iowa?" They answered that they preferred to return to the hotel to get ready for the ball.  So Dara drove to the Youth Sports Complex by himself.

The young Des Moines team and the former-lycée-student team.

 

The soccer match between our former lycée students and the young local team.  The match was quite entertaining with the lycée team substituted freely, and the match ended at 3:00 pm with the score of 0-0.  In reality, the young local team paid no respect to the elders.  They ran up the score to 3-1.  Most players of the former lycée student team ran out of streams when the local teams staged  countless counter-attacks.  

 

Now it would be a good time to go prepare for la grande soirée., and hopefully we would not be too sore that  could prevent some of the players from showcasing their talents on the dance floor.
